How We Do It

Business Health Framework

Our team helps small businesses who know that there’s more in store for the future of their business than they’re currently achieving. We combine industry-standard and proprietary tools to help our clients discover, plan, and implement systems and processes to build healthier companies.

Clients move through a three-phase process with the option to continue working with Forte through additional support services. In this process, you’ll gain clarity over your business goals and organization around your processes and ultimately achieve health.

Business Health Framework Light

With a focus on providing the best Business Health Framework (BHF) support and implementation for all clients, Forte recognizes not all clients require an in-depth implementation strategy. To support these clients through their development of healthy business practices, we recommend a three-pronged approach.

Phase 1: Discover

In this phase, we work to understand the current state of your business and assess its strengths and opportunities. This provides you with a holistic view of your business and guides the work as we cast the vision and develop a strategic plan.

Phase 2: Plan

This phase sets the stage for future work with a key focus on a successful strategic blueprint meeting. Forte and the client work together to develop goals, identify challenges, and finalize the detailed scope of work, roadmaps, milestones, and scorecards. We also identify the need for initial SOPs (standard operating procedures), checklists, templates, handbooks, and more. The phase ends with an engagement summary in which all deliverables are packaged and recommendations for implementation and/or future work are detailed.

Phase 3: Client Hand-Off

After we have developed your strategic plan together, we hand it off to you to execute.

Additional Support Services

After the engagement has ended, clients have the option to continue working with Forte through additional support services.

What to Expect

A typical engagement lasts 18-24 months (4-6 months for BHF Light) with the option to continue through ongoing advisory support. We will have weekly or bi-weekly check-ins as well as quarterly reviews. We will work collaboratively through digital platform access and communicate regularly through Slack.
